    • Hands out assist in Game 2
Arvidsson logged an assist, three hits and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Oilers in Game 2.

Advice: Arvidsson set up Drew Doughty's breakaway tally in the first period. With two helpers over two playoff contests, Arvidsson is settling in nicely on the second line. The winger has added four shots on net. He closed the regular season with 10 points over his last nine outings, so it shouldn't be surprising to see the 31-year-old find success on offense. • Supplies pair of assists
Byfield produced two assists, three hits, two PIM and a plus-4 rating in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Oilers in Game 2.

Advice: Byfield helped out on Kevin Fiala's goal in the third period and set up Anze Kopitar for the game-winner 2:07 into overtime. The 21-year-old Byfield has some momentum with five points over his last three outings, which follows a nine-game slump. He's been listed on the third line for the playoffs, but his role has been fairly interchangeable with Alex Laferriere so far. Byfield has the better scoring outlook of the two even if he doesn't get back into a top-six role officially. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:02 pm
    • Dazzles in Game 2 win
Bobrovsky made 21 saves Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Lightning in Game 2 of the Panthers' first-round series.

Advice: The Bolts struck twice early in the second period, once on the power play, but otherwise Bobrovsky had an answer for everything they fired at him, including an impossible stop later in the middle frame when the goalie dove across the crease with his back to Matthew Dumba as the Tampa defenseman shot the puck toward a seemingly open net. Bobrovsky has allowed four goals on 42 shots to begin the playoffs. Including the end of the regular season, he's 5-0-1 over his last six outings with a 1.46 GAA and .942 save percentage. He'll look to stay locked in Thursday on the road for Game 3. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:42 am
    • Gathers assist Tuesday
Nyquist logged an assist in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Canucks in Game 2.

Advice: Nyquist set up Filip Forsberg's second-period tally, which was the game-winner. The 34-year-old Nyquist is playing the role of a steady playmaker on the top line -- he has two helpers through two playoff contests, and he's earned a goal and five assists over his last five appearances. He should continue to see ample ice time at even strength and on the power play, giving him plenty of chances to chip in with offense. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:21 pm
    • Tending twine Tuesday
Bobrovsky will defend the home cage against the Lightning in Game 2 on Tuesday.

Advice: Bobrovsky faced just 19 shots in Game 1, stopping 17 of them on the way to an .895 save percentage. Despite posting a sub-900 save percentage, the 35-year-old Russian still managed to secure an important victory for the Cats -- extending his winning streak to three contests. Barring an injury, Bobrovsky should be between the crease for every game in the playoffs. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:28 am
    • Power-play tally in Game 2 win
Tavares scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 3-2 victory over the Bruins.

Advice: Tavares tied the game 2-2 on the man advantage late in the second period, beating Linus Ullmark with a turnaround wrister for his first goal of the playoffs. The 33-year-old Tavares finished the regular season with at least one goal in each of his final four contests. He tallied 29 goals and 65 points across 80 outings this year. • Pockets helper
Byfield notched an assist, two shots on goal and four hits in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.

Advice: Byfield set up an Adrian Kempe tally in the second period. An unsteady end to the campaign saw Byfield pick up two points in the regular-season finale following a 19-game goal drought in which he earned six assists. The 21-year-old had 55 points over 80 regular-season contests overall, but it's possible he's feeling the wear and tear of a full-length NHL season, which could limit his effectiveness in the playoffs. • Offers helper in loss
Arvidsson notched an assist, three shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.

Advice: Arvidsson helped out on a Mikey Anderson goal in the second period. With seven points over his last five contests, Arvidsson is carrying some momentum on offense into the postseason. He was limited to 18 regular-season games but still produced 15 points and 59 shots on net over that span, making him a solid depth option for fantasy playoff competitions. • Strikes on power play
Nugent-Hopkins scored a power-play goal on four shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 1.

Advice: Nugent-Hopkins rested for the regular-season finale. The 31-year-old has spent much of the season in a top-six role, and he began the playoffs on the second line. He produced 18 goals and 67 points in 80 contests this year, well off the mark from last year's 37-goal, 104-point campaign. Nonetheless, Nugent-Hopkins should continue to be an excellent source of power-play production. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:20 pm
