Recommendation: Scott fills a tough-guy role and the buck ends there, as he has a miniscule five points in 180 career games. That said, he has 305 penalty minutes across that time, so you can usually be sure when he's out there that he's ready to mix it up with someone. Scott played 34 games with the Sabres last season and was third on the team with 69 PIMs.

- Stalberg will return to the lineup on Monday in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Red Wings, ESPN Chicago reports.(Rotowire.com)
Recommendation: Stalberg had been in Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville's doghouse after the first-round series with the Wild and was a healthy scratch for the first two games against the Red Wings. With the Hawks in need of some speed after the 4-1 loss in Game 2 to Detroit, Quenneville has turned back to Stalberg. He is expected to be skating on the third line.

Recommendation: With Viktor Stalberg dressing for Game 3, there had to be a player who will not dress and that is Carcillo. Despite playing the last four playoff games, Carcillo had not seen much ice time. He only saw a little less than eight minutes of ice time in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals.

- Moulson has earned a nomination for the Lady Byng Trophy, which is given to the NHLer who has best exhibited the combination of sportsmanship, gentlemanly conduct and skill. Marty St. Louis of Tampa Bay and Patrick Kane of Chicago are the other nominees. It is Moulson's second consecutive nomination for the award.(Rotowire.com)
Recommendation: Moulson totaled just four penalty minutes while finishing in the top three on the Isles in goals (15), assists (29) and points (44). His efforts also helped lead the team to the postseason for its first appearance in six seasons.

Recommendation: After making a heads-up play in a race to a loose puck in the Hawks' zone, Zetterberg brought the puck behind the Chicago goal line before firing a pass through a defenseman's skates to Brendan Smith at the back door. Aside from his contributions offensively, Zetterberg's value in the series will also come in the form of providing a tough defensive matchup for Hawks captain Jonathan Toews.

Recommendation: He has a 5-3-8 ledger after seven playoff games, with half of those points coming on San Jose power plays. There's no sign that this productivity will abate.

Recommendation: Having been stuck in Columbus for the entirety of his career previously, the goal is just the second of Nash's playoff career. With a goal and two assists in his last three games, perhaps Nash is warming up just in time to push the Rangers into the conference finals.

Recommendation: This is the first OT tally of Couture's career, and came on a San Jose power play. The injury cost him most of the second frame, but he played all of the third before delivering the clincher. As long as he's on a line with Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau, Couture is a solid bet to appear on the scoresheet.

Recommendation: Although many of his Sharks teammates felt the suspension for the remainder of the second-round series with the Kings was excessive, Torres elected to preserve his eligibility for a potential Western Conference finals series. Though not a prolific scorer offensively, Torres' skills as an enforcer will be missed against the Kings.

Recommendation: Marchand left Thursday's morning skate in some pain due to an undisclosed injury, but not only did he suit up that evening, he turned in arguably his best effort in the postseason to date.

- Ovechkin played the final two games of the Capitals' playoff series against the Rangers with a hairline fracture in his left foot, the Washington Post reports.(Rotowire.com)
Recommendation: Since skating could not make the injury worse, Ovechkin played through the issue, both in those two games, as well as the the quarterfinals of the World Championships. The good news is that the fracture will simply requires rest to heal and Ovechkin has the entire offseason ahead of him to that end.

Recommendation: One of the team's free agents, Klinkhammer made himself a priority for the team's front office this offseason after posting a career-high 11 points in 22 games at the NHL level. Klinkhammer also finished second on the team with a plus-7 rating. He should figure prominently into their plans in 2013.

- Dupuis scored his sixth goal of the playoffs -- a short-handed effort -- in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Ottawa.(Rotowire.com)
Recommendation: Dupuis owners faced a scary moment when the forward slid awkwardly into the end boards during the third period and skated slowly off the ice. He didn't miss any time, however, and potted a short-side wrister over goalie Craig Anderson's right shoulder soon thereafter.

Recommendation: His skill was needed more when the team's top-six forwards were not intact. Now that everyone's healthy, Jokinen is relegated to fighting for time on the fourth line and the likes of Tyler Kennedy and Joe Vitale fill the energy role better than Jokinen. Until the Pens lose another game, coach Dan Bylsma will likely keep the lineup the same -- meaning Jokinen will ride the bench.

Recommendation: While it was Zuccarello's first NHL playoff goal, he has been far from quiet these playoffs. After being shutout by the Caps in Games 1 and 2, the third-year winger has a goal and four assists in his last four games. The Norwegian Hobbit will hope to continue his productive ways in his first career game against Boston on Thursday.
