    • Agrees to four-year extension
Domi signed a four-year, $15 million contract with Toronto on Sunday, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

Advice: Domi compiled nine goals, 47 points, 137 shots on net, 118 PIM and 53 hits in 80 regular-season contests with the Maple Leafs in 2023-24. He also collected one goal and three helpers in seven playoff outings. Domi got a fantasy boost from playing alongside Auston Matthews late in the year. He could occupy a spot on Toronto's top line and see power-play time on the second unit going into the 2024-25 campaign. Rotowire.com Today, 10:48 am

    • Agrees to one-year deal
Kunin signed a one-year, $2.75 million contract with San Jose on Sunday.

Advice: Kunin collected 11 goals, 18 points, 98 shots on net and 165 hits across 77 games with the Sharks during the 2023-24 campaign. Despite having limited offensive upside, the 26-year-old forward could occupy a middle-six role and see power-play time next season. Rotowire.com Today, 9:37 am

New Jersey obtained Cotter and a 2025 third-round pick from Vegas on Saturday in exchange for Alexander Holtz and Akira Schmid.

Advice: Cotter collected seven goals, 25 points, 100 shots on net and 233 hits in 76 games during the 2023-24 campaign. He could occupy a bottom-six role with the Devils next season while seeing some power-play time. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:05 pm
    • Becomes Wild man in Draft Day trade
Lauko has been traded to Minnesota from Boston in exchange for Vinni Lettieri, reports TSN.ca. The teams also exchanged 2024 fourth round picks.

Advice: The 24-year-old Lauko spent 60 regular-season games with Boston in 2023-24, delivering two goals and eight assists along with 32 PIM. He got into two fights last season, both against the Wild. Lauko will vie for a bottom-six role in the land of lakes. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:04 am
    • Heads back to Boston in trade
Lettieri has been acquired in trade by the Bruins from the Wild in exchange for Jakub Lauko, reports TSN.ca. The teams also exchanged 2024 fourth-round draft picks.

Advice: Lettieri is a 29-year-old depth center who put up five goals and four assists in 46 regular-season games while averaging under 10 minutes a game with Minnesota in 2023-24. He has played 129 NHL games over the last six seasons, including one previous game with the Bruins in 2022-23. That season, Lettieri played 48 games with the Bruins' AHL affiliate in Providence, delivering 49 points (23 goals, 26 assists). Lettieri will vie for a role on the Bruins' fourth line in camp. • Traded to Pittsburgh
Hayes was traded to Pittsburgh from St. Louis for future considerations Saturday, reports Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Advice: A second-round pick in 2025 goes with him, but it's the dreaded "future considerations" headed the other way in what's ostensibly a salary dump by the Blues. Hayes doesn't do much with the puck. He's not a fast skater, doesn't use his size and can't forecheck. But he can become a bottom-six pivot in Pittsburgh behind Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, as he won't be expected to provide offense. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:35 am
    • Heads to Tampa Bay in trade
Geekie , J.J. Moser, a 2025 second-round pick and the No. 199 selection in the 2024 NHL Draft were acquired by Tampa Bay on Saturday from Utah in exchange for Mikhail Sergachev.

Advice: Geekie was the 11th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He tallied 43 goals and 56 assists in 54 games between Wenatchee and Swift Current of the WHL in 2023-24. He also dressed for two playoff games for Utah's AHL affiliate in Tucson. Geekie immediately elevates Tampa Bay's thin prospect pool, especially down the middle. At 6-foot-4, the left-shooting pivot will eventually bring size, skill and vision to the Lightning. Geekie is continuing to work on his skating mechanics, as that was the knock on him on Draft Day. • Poised to become free agent
Stamkos is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1 after Lightning general manager Julien BriseBois said Friday that he's not sure the two sides will reach an agreement on a new deal, per Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com.

Advice: There's loads of speculation that the Bolts offered a $24 million deal, but over eight years to lower the AAV to $3 million. Stamkos, who is 34, scored 40 goals and had 81 points in 2023-24. He's Tampa Bay's all-time franchise leader in games played (1,082), goals (555), points (1,137), even-strength goals (336), even-strength points (707), power-play goals (214), power-play points (422), overtime goals (13), game-winning goals (85) and shots (3,332). Stamkos is best deployed on the wing but can still play down the middle. He should have plenty of suitors if he tests the open market, especially from teams seeking leadership and Cup experience. The Lightning freed some cap space by trading Mikhail Sergachev to Utah on Saturday, so the door may not be closed on a potential contract extension with Stamkos.
