    • Two power-play points in win
Panarin scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals in Game 4.

Advice: Both of Panarin's points came on the power play. The winger was relatively quiet in the first round, logging three points and 11 shots on net during the four-game sweep. Panarin had 120 points, including 44 on the power play, in a career year over 82 regular-season appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:10 pm
    • Distributes three helpers in Game 4
Miller logged three assists, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Predators in Game 4.

Advice: Miller had a hand in all three of Brock Boeser's goals during regulation. With a goal, five assists, 10 shots on net, 11 hits and a plus-3 rating over four playoff outings, Miller continues to provide well-rounded production. The 31-year-old should remain in a top-six role as the Canucks look to close out this first-round series in Tuesday's Game 5. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:07 pm
    • Scores hat trick
Nichushkin scored three goals on five shots in Sunday's 5-1 Game 4 win over the Jets.

Advice: Nichushkin deposited two power-play goals in the second period to give the Avalanche a 4-1 lead going into the third period. He added an empty-net goal late in the third frame for the hat trick, and Sunday's trio of tallies brings Nichushkin up to six goals in the playoffs. The 29-year-old winger added two hits, three blocked shots, five shots on net and a plus-2 rating in 22:28 of ice time. Including the regular season, Nichushkin is on a six-game point streak, scoring eight goals and one assist over that span. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:33 pm
    • Heating up in playoffs
Montour registered an assist and four blocked shots versus the Lightning in Game 4 on Saturday, but it wasn't enough, as the Panthers suffered a 6-3 loss.

Advice: After being held without a point in the first two games of the conference quarterfinals, Montour stacked a goal and two helpers between Game 3 and Game 4. The eighth-year defenseman has always had a high ceiling in terms of offensive potential, but there had been a fair number of detractors until Montour's eye-popping 73-point campaign surfaced in 2022-23. He had offseason shoulder surgery and missed the first 16 games of the recently completed regular season, leveling back down to a half-point-per game average. In this playoff series, Montour is averaging 23:26 of ice time with 2:27 on the man advantage. The Panthers will have another crack at eliminating the Lightning in Game 5 on Monday, this time on home ice. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:51 am
    • Two goals help extend campaign
Stamkos deposited two goals, including a power-play tally, in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Panthers to stave off elimination in Game 4 of the conference quarterfinals.

Advice: After receiving an incredible backhand feed from Brayden Point for the game's first goal, Stamkos ripped one of his patented wrist shots past Sergei Bobrovsky to put the Lightning up 5-3 at 9:34 in the third period. The performance gave the electrifying forward 50 playoff goals for his career, and 101 postseason points. Stamkos has five goals and an assist in this first-round series, and his impressive showing Saturday left the door open for more playoff action for the Bolts. Game 5 is set for Monday. • Continues to impress in playoffs
McNabb scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist, added four hits and blocked five shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars in Game 3.

Advice: McNabb got the Golden Knights on the board midway through the second period, and he set up a Jack Eichel shorthanded tally just a few minutes later. The 33-year-old McNabb has two goals, one assist, six shots on net, seven hits and 13 blocked shots through three playoff outings in a top-four role. He's known more for his physical play but had a career-high 26 points (four goals, 22 assists) in 82 games during the regular season. McNabb has carried over that success into the early stages of the postseason. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:57 pm
    • Strong effort in overtime loss
Thompson allowed three goals on 46 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars in Game 3.

Advice: Thompson's performance was a big reason the game got deep into overtime, as he came up with a handful of big saves against a desperate Stars team. It wasn't enough in the end, as Wyatt Johnston closed the scoring with a top-shelf goal in the extra session. Thompson has allowed seven goals on 96 shots while going 2-1 in the first-round series, and it's unlikely this loss will cost him the starting job. Game 4 is Monday in Vegas. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:55 pm
    • Set to start Saturday
Thompson is expected to start at home in Game 3 against Dallas on Saturday, per Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Advice: Thompson has helped Vegas win the opening two games of the first-round series by stopping 46 of 50 shots (.920 save percentage). That's part of a larger hot streak in which he's posted a 2.12 GAA and a .925 save percentage over his past 13 appearances. Dallas ranked third offensively in the regular season with 3.59 goals per contest, so the Stars shouldn't be taken lightly, even after being defeated by Vegas twice. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:31 am
    • Two PP points in Game 3 win
Miller produced a goal and an assist, both on the power play, during Friday's 2-1 win over the Predators in Game 3.

Advice: The 31-year-old center opened the scoring midway through the first period by snapping a shot past Juuse Saros from above the faceoff circle, and Miller then helped set up Brock Boeser for the winner early in the second frame. Miller has a goal and three points through three postseason games, and he'll try to keep rolling in Game 4 on Sunday as the Canucks try to take a 3-1 series lead. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:13 am
