    • Falls short in Game 4
Lindgren allowed three goals on 22 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers in Game 4. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Advice: Lindgren went 0-4 in the playoffs, ending the Capitals' postseason run in the first round. He allowed 14 goals on 103 shots during those four contests, putting a sour taste on an otherwise solid campaign that saw him post a 25-16-7 record, a 2.67 GAA and a .911 save percentage in 50 regular-season appearances. Lindgren is under contract for one more season, so he should have at least a timeshare role on lock for 2024-25. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:30 pm
    • Registers helper Sunday
O'Reilly produced an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canucks in Game 4.

Advice: O'Reilly got on the scoresheet for the first time since his Game 1 goal when he set up a Gustav Nyquist tally in the second period. The 33-year-old O'Reilly has added eight shots on net, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over four playoff contests. He remains in a top-line role, but the Predators will need more from him now that they're facing elimination. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:31 pm
    • Third straight win
Georgiev allowed one goal on 27 shots in Sunday's 5-1 Game 4 win over the Jets.

Advice: Georgiev allowed a first-period goal on the fifth shot of the game but then kicked aside the next 22 shots to keep the Jets off the scoreboard. After a poor performance in Game 1, Georgiev has allowed only five goals on 77 shots for a .935 save percentage in the last three games. The Avalanche lead the series 3-1 and would move on to the second round with a Game 5 win Tuesday, when the series shifts back to Winnipeg. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:10 pm
    • Tending twine in Game 4
Georgiev will protect the home net Sunday in Game 4 against Winnipeg, Kyle Fredrickson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: Georgiev has stopped 50 of 54 shots over the last two games, winning both following a disastrous showing in Game 1 versus the Jets in which he surrendered seven goals. With a victory in Sunday's contest, the Avalanche would take a 3-1 series lead back to Winnipeg for Game 5 on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:10 am
    • First off ahead of Game 4
Lindgren was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Tarik El-Bashir of Monumental Sports Network reports, indicating he will patrol the home crease Sunday in Game 4 versus the Rangers.

Advice: Lindgren has lost three straight outings in the postseason, surrendering 11 goals on 81 shots for an .864 save percentage. The Capitals need a victory in Game 4 to avoid being swept in the first round by the Rangers. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:54 am
    • Scores twice in overtime win
Johnston scored two goals on eight shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Game 3.

Advice: Johnston opened the scoring in the first period with a backhand tally, then went top shelf at 16:23 of overtime to finish off the Stars' first win of the first-round series. The 20-year-old led the Stars' onslaught with eight shots, double the amount he put up in the first two games of the series. He was moved to the top line Saturday, and given the result, he may stay there moving forward. Johnston has three points, 12 shots, four hits and three blocked shots in the postseason. • Gets little help in Game 3 loss
Lindgren stopped 19 shots Friday during a 3-1 loss to the Rangers in Game 3 of the Capitals' first-round series.

Advice: John Carlson opened the scoring with a somewhat fluky goal early in the first period, but Lindgren gave up the lead less than a minute later when Chris Kreider tipped home a long-range shot, and the Rangers never looked back. The 30-year-old netminder has given up 11 goals on 81 shots through three playoff games, and while that shaky save percentage isn't entirely his fault, Lindgren's still begun the playoffs with three straight losses, leaving Washington on the brink of elimination. • Three-point effort in Game 3 win
Draisaitl scored twice on four shots, added an assist, went plus-2, blocked two shots and logged two PIM in Friday's 6-1 win over the Kings in Game 3.

Advice: Draisaitl's first goal was at even strength, while his other two points were on the power play. The 28-year-old has been in peak form with three goals, four helpers, 15 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through three playoff contests. With the Oilers leading the series 2-1, Draisaitl is likely to remain on the second line rather than moving up to play alongside Connor McDavid. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:22 pm
    • Wins Game 3
Georgiev stopped 22 of 24 shots in Friday's 6-2 win over the Jets in Game 3.

Advice: Georgiev appears to have gotten himself back on track, allowing just four goals on 54 shots over the past two games, both being Avalanche wins. He had a rough second period Friday, but the Avalanche's offense took over in the third. Now that he has consecutive wins for the first time in over a month, there should be less chatter of head coach Jared Bednar switching away from Georgiev going forward. Game 4 is Sunday in Colorado.
