Lehner came on in relief during the second period of Friday's Game 2 loss to the Penguins. Recommendation: Starter Craig Anderson allowed three goals on 21 shots before being yanked in favor of Lehner, who allowed one goal on 21 shots. There's no word yet on who will start Game 3 on Sunday, as the Sens may be looking for a spark with their backs against the wall in the series.
Vokoun will start in net for Friday's Game 2 against the Senators, TSN's Brent Wallace reports. Recommendation: Vokoun got the win and recorded 35 saves in Game 1 of the second round, but his performance had it's rough spots. Vokoun will be on a short leash going forward, as coach Dan Bylsma could turn to Marc-Andre Fleury at any point.
Anderson is in the net for Friday's Game 2 against the Penguins, CBC Sports reports. Recommendation: Anderson had a rough showing in Game 1, allowing four goals on 30 shots, but his sterling regular season numbers should make him a fixture in goal the rest of the way.
Rask stopped 33-of-35 shots in Thursday's overtime win over the Rangers in Game 1 of the Bruins' second-round playoff series. Recommendation: Look for Rask to see all the starts in goal for the Bruins as their playoff run continues. Next up for the team is Game 2, an afternoon tilt at home against the Rangers on Sunday.
Niemi let in four goals on 31 shots Thursday in Los Angeles, posting a .871 save percentage, his worst of the postseason. Recommendation: Niemi let in the first shot of the night, but rebounded well until he let two past in 22 seconds during the closing minutes of the game. A return to San Jose for the next two games could help the Vezina-finalist.
Backstrom had surgery to repair a sports hernia and is expected to be fully recovered for the start of the 2013-14 season, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Recommendation: It's not clear if he'll be playing for the Wild again next season as Backstrom will be an unrestricted free agent.
Crawford only faced 21 shots on goal in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals in the 4-1 victory over the Red Wings on Wednesday. Recommendation: Crawford was really only tested in the first period as Detroit appeared to run out of gas coming off a seven-game First Round series victory over the Ducks. Starting Saturday with Game 2 against the Red Wings, it should be a little bit harder, but Crawford's history suggests he excels against Detroit.
Lundqvist will be in the net for Game 1 against the Rangers on Thursday. Recommendation: To no one's surprise, Lundqvist will handle goaltending duties in Game 1, and probably for every remaining start this season for that matter. Coming off two shutouts to close out the series against the Capitals, he might be the hottest goalie going right now.
Howard (hamstring) will start Game 1 against the Blackhawks on Wednesday. Recommendation: Howard has been dealing with a hamstring issue lately, but has played well despite it. He finished the first round with a mediocre save percentage of .911 and a 2.74 GAA, but got better as the series went on, winning three of the final four games to help the Wings advance.
Quick stopped all 35 shots put on him by the Sharks on Tuesday for a 2-0 win in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Recommendation: After dropping the first two games to St. Louis, Quick and the Kings have gone on a five-game winning streak, playing hockey reminiscent of last year's Stanley Cup run.
Holtby stopped just 22 of 27 shots in a 5-0 Game 7 loss to the Rangers in Washington on Monday night. Recommendation: The season is over for the Capitals after the blowout Monday night. Holtby ended the series with a .922 save percentage and a 2.22 goals allowed average. Holtby saw the vast majority of the playing time this year for the Caps and will head into the offseason as the heir apparent in the net. He's going to have to win in the playoffs eventually, though.
Price (second-degree MCL sprain) will not need surgery and is looking at a six-week recovery period, the Montreal Gazette reports. Recommendation: In any case, Price expects to be fully healthy by the time training camp rolls around and the fact that he will not need an offseason procedure on his knee supports that notion.
Reimer will start Game 7 against the Bruins on Monday, NHL.com reports. Recommendation: Reimer has been great in the past two games for the Leafs, giving up just two goals on 74 shots against over that span. He will need to be good again Monday in order for the Leafs to advance after trailing the Bruins 3-1 in the series.
Hiller made 29 saves on 32 shots in a Game 7 loss to the Red Wings on Sunday. Recommendation: Hiller had a .917 save percentage and a 2.46 GAA this postseason, and he posted a shutout as well. However, Anaheim's playoff run is now over.
