    • Finishes off first-round series
Pastrnak scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Maple Leafs in Game 7.

Advice: Pastrnak dumped the puck back to Hampus Lindholm at the Bruins' blue line, then took off to the races. Lindholm's dump-in banked off the boards perfectly to Pastrnak, who deked around Ilya Samsonov and tucked in the series-clinching goal 1:54 into overtime. The 27-year-old Pastrnak had been called out by head coach Jim Montgomery to step up after going without a point in Games 5 and 6, and he made good on that challenge in a pivotal moment. Pastrnak had five points, 23 shots on net, 19 hits and eight PIM over seven first-round contests. Rotowire.com Today, 9:03 pm
    • Garners two helpers Wednesday
Nugent-Hopkins earned a pair of assists in a 4-3 victory over the Kings in Game 5 on Wednesday.

Advice: Nugent-Hopkins has managed just two shots over his last four games, failing to find the back of the net along the way, but he's chipped in five helpers over that stretch. In fact, dating back to the regular season, the veteran center has scored only one goal in his previous 10 appearances. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:31 am
    • Two points in Game 5 loss
Nelson scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes in Game 5.

Advice: The 32-year-old center did his best to keep his team alive in an elimination game, but the Isles simply didn't have the firepower to keep up with Carolina. Nelson picked up two goals and four points in five postseason contests after supplying 34 goals and 69 points in the regular season, his third straight campaign with 30-plus goals. He has one more season left on his current contract with a $6 million AAV, but there's just $4 million in salary left on Nelson's deal. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:44 am

    • Bags apple in loss
Hughes posted an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Predators in Game 5.

Advice: Hughes is up to five assists, eight shots on net and six blocked shots over five playoff contests. He set up Nikita Zadorov for the opening goal in the third period, though the Canucks couldn't hold that narrow lead. Hughes' play hasn't been as consistent in the playoffs when compared to the regular season, but he's still seeing a massive workload on the top pairing. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:30 pm
    • Credited with goal in loss
Connor scored a goal on six shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche in Game 3.

Advice: Connor was awarded the Jets' first goal after a series of blunders led to the Avalanche putting the puck in their own net. The winger had three goals, two assists, 19 shots on net and a minus-4 rating over five playoff outings during the Jets' first-round exit. Connor has two years remaining on his contract and should continue to be a top-six force for the Jets in 2024-25. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:43 pm
    • Scores lone goal in Game 5 loss
Hedman scored a goal on six shots, added four hits and blocked three shots in Monday's 6-1 loss to the Panthers in Game 5.

Advice: Hedman put the Lightning on the board in the second period, but they couldn't build any momentum. The 33-year-old did his part in the Lightning's first-round exit, racking up seven points, 15 shots on net, 13 hits, nine blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over five contests. Hedman will be in the last season of his eight-year contract extension in 2024-25, but he should at least begin the campaign in his usual role as the Lightning's top blueliner. • Secures series win
Bobrovsky stopped 31 of 32 shots in Monday's 6-1 win over the Lightning in Game 5.

Advice: Bobrovsky secured a 4-1 series win in the first round with Monday's strong showing. The 35-year-old has given up 14 goals over five playoffs contests, though six of them came in his lone loss in Game 4. The Panthers will have a little extra time off ahead of the second round, where they'll face either the Bruins or the Maple Leafs. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:57 pm
    • In goal Monday
Bobrovsky will get the starting nod at home against the Lightning in Game 5 on Monday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Advice: Bobrovsky will be looking for a bounce-back performance after conceding six goals on 32 shots (.813 save percentage) in Game 4 on Saturday. It was the veteran netminder's first regulation loss in his last eight outings dating back to the regular season, having gone 6-1-1 over that stretch. Despite the subpar outing in Game 4, Bobrovsky, who was named a Vezina Trophy finalist Monday, was never really in danger of losing the starting job. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:30 am
    • Registers helper Sunday
O'Reilly produced an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canucks in Game 4.

Advice: O'Reilly got on the scoresheet for the first time since his Game 1 goal when he set up a Gustav Nyquist tally in the second period. The 33-year-old O'Reilly has added eight shots on net, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over four playoff contests. He remains in a top-line role, but the Predators will need more from him now that they're facing elimination. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:31 pm
