    • Starting in Game 3
Bobrovsky will guard the road crease Thursday against Tampa Bay for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, per Alex Baumgartner.

Advice: Bobrovsky was solid in Game 2 on Tuesday, stopping 21 of 23 shots en route to a 3-2 win. The 35-year-old has played 72 career playoff games, recording a .905 save percentage and 31 total wins. The Lightning will undoubtedly be desperate to avoid falling in to a 3-0 series hole, so they'll likely come out firing Thursday. Rotowire.com Today, 9:40 am
    • Chips in with assist
Danault logged an assist and two hits in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Oilers in Game 2.

Advice: Danault briefly had to leave the game after taking a hit, but he was able to return, finishing the contest with 17:59 of ice time. His helper was on Drew Doughty's first-period marker. Danault put up 47 points, 159 shots on net, 80 hits and 60 blocked shots over 78 regular-season outings as a do-it-all center on the Kings' second line. He'll likely continue to be tasked with tough defensive assignments, which could suppress his scoring chances in the playoffs. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:07 pm
    • Dazzles in Game 2 win
Bobrovsky made 21 saves Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Lightning in Game 2 of the Panthers' first-round series.

Advice: The Bolts struck twice early in the second period, once on the power play, but otherwise Bobrovsky had an answer for everything they fired at him, including an impossible stop later in the middle frame when the goalie dove across the crease with his back to Matthew Dumba as the Tampa defenseman shot the puck toward a seemingly open net. Bobrovsky has allowed four goals on 42 shots to begin the playoffs. Including the end of the regular season, he's 5-0-1 over his last six outings with a 1.46 GAA and .942 save percentage. He'll look to stay locked in Thursday on the road for Game 3. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:42 am
    • Two helpers in OT loss
Hedman picked up two assists, one on the power play, in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Panthers in Game 2 on Tuesday.

Advice: All of Tampa Bay's scoring came in the first six minutes of the second period, as the team was otherwise stifled by Sergei Bobrovsky. Hedman had managed only one multi-point performance in the prior 15 games, including Game 1, but he'd been a consistent contributor with a goal and 10 points over that span. The Bolts may need the 33-year-old blueliner to find another gear in order to have a chance to bounce back from an 0-2 deficit in the series. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 am
    • Records helper
Connor provided an assist, fired two shots on goal and added four PIM in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Avalanche in Game 2.

Advice: Connor helped out on a Mark Scheifele tally in the second period. The assist gave Connor at least a point in each of his last 10 games -- he's earned six goals and 10 helpers in that span. The winger has four points, seven shots on net and a plus-1 rating over two playoff outings so far and looks poised to remain a fixture on the top line. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:54 pm
    • Tending twine Tuesday
Bobrovsky will defend the home cage against the Lightning in Game 2 on Tuesday.

Advice: Bobrovsky faced just 19 shots in Game 1, stopping 17 of them on the way to an .895 save percentage. Despite posting a sub-900 save percentage, the 35-year-old Russian still managed to secure an important victory for the Cats -- extending his winning streak to three contests. Barring an injury, Bobrovsky should be between the crease for every game in the playoffs. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:28 am
    • Scores in Game 2 loss
Pastrnak scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to Toronto.

Advice: Pastrnak put Boston ahead 2-1 with eight seconds remaining in the first period, one-timing a Pavel Zacha feed from the slot. It's the first goal and the second point for Pastrnak in the playoffs after he tallied 47 goals and 110 points in the regular season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 7:12 am
    • Strikes on power play
Nugent-Hopkins scored a power-play goal on four shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 7-4 win over the Kings in Game 1.

Advice: Nugent-Hopkins rested for the regular-season finale. The 31-year-old has spent much of the season in a top-six role, and he began the playoffs on the second line. He produced 18 goals and 67 points in 80 contests this year, well off the mark from last year's 37-goal, 104-point campaign. Nonetheless, Nugent-Hopkins should continue to be an excellent source of power-play production. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:20 pm
    • Nets power-play goal in loss
O'Reilly scored a power-play goal and went minus-3 in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks in Game 1.

Advice: O'Reilly's tally gave the Predators a 2-1 lead in the second period, but they couldn't hang onto it in the third. The 33-year-old center has two goals and five assists during his six-game point streak. O'Reilly won the Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe Trophy with the Blues in 2019 and should be able to provide leadership and offense from a first-line role, but the Predators face an uphill battle for making a deep playoff run.
