    • Scores goal in loss
Horvat scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-3 defeat to Carolina in Game 2.

Advice: Horvat was able to end a five-game goal drought dating back to April 9 versus the Rangers. The Ontario native is averaging 3.75 shots on goal over his last four contests. If he keeps that rate up, he should start finding the back of the net with more consistency. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago
    • Tickles twine in loss
Moore scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and notched three hits in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.

Advice: Moore got the Kings within two goals late in the third period, but there wasn't enough time for a comeback. The 29-year-old winger has six goals and three assists over 10 outings in April. He produced a career-high 31 goals and 57 points in 82 regular-season contests while cementing himself as a fixture on the second line. Moore also sees time on both special teams, making him a strong two-way forward. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:49 pm
    • Records helper in Game 1 loss
Nyquist registered a power-play assist and went minus-3 in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks in Game 1.

Advice: Nyquist has a goal and seven helpers over eight games since the start of April. The winger was able to set up Ryan O'Reilly for a second-period goal, but the Predators' top line found no joy at even strength. Nyquist had a career year with 75 points over 81 appearances, and the Predators will hope he still has some offense left in the tank for the postseason. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:07 pm
    • Logs helper Sunday
Josi posted an assist in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Canucks in Game 1.

Advice: Josi has earned 10 points over his last nine outings. The defenseman set up Jason Zucker's first-period tally in Sunday's contest. Josi had another excellent regular season with 23 goals and 85 points over 82 appearances, and he added 268 shots on net, 151 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating. He'll fill a workhorse role as the Predators' top defenseman during the playoffs. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:06 pm

    • Loses in Game 1
Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 27 shots in a 3-2 Game 1 loss to the Panthers on Sunday. The third goal was an empty-netter.

Advice: With the score tied 1-1 early in the third period, Vasilevskiy allowed a power-play goal to Carter Verhaeghe that eventually lead to a game-winning empty-netter by Matthew Tkachuk. The Lightning would eventually score with 10 seconds left to pull within one, but it would prove to be too late at that point. Vasilevskiy finished with a .926 save percentage en route to his third loss in a row. The 29-year-old netminder is the clear No. 1 option for the Lightning, so expect him to get all the starts throughout the playoffs. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:03 pm
    • Goal, assist in loss
Lehkonen scored a power-play goal on seven shots and added an assist in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Jets in Game 1.

Advice: Lehkonen was bumped back down to the second line for this game, with Zach Parise moving to the top line to fill in for Jonathan Drouin (lower body). The 28-year-old Lehkonen can provide offense from anywhere in the top six -- he had nine points over the last nine games of the regular season to finish 2023-24 with 34 points in 45 appearances. If the Avalanche struggle again in Game 2, it wouldn't be surprising to see Lehkonen ultimately shuffled around again. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:28 pm
    • Starting playoff opener
Vasilevskiy will guard the road goal Sunday in Game 1 versus Florida, according to Chris Krenn of the Lightning's official site.

Advice: Vasilevskiy struggled down the stretch, losing three of four starts and allowing 15 goals on 128 shots. In 52 appearances during the regular season, he provided a 30-20-2 record with two shutouts, a 2.90 GAA and a .900 save percentage. Vasilevskiy also lost two of three meetings against the Panthers, surrendering 12 goals on 103 shots. Florida ranked 11th in the league with 3.23 goals per game during the 2023-24 campaign. • Stellar in win
Swayman stopped 35 of 36 shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Maple Leafs in Game 1.

Advice: Swayman ended the season with a pair of losses, but he was good overall with a 25-10-8 record, a 2.53 GAA and a .916 save percentage. He was dialed in Saturday, stopping everything but a David Kampf tally in the third period. After the game, head coach Jim Montgomery said it would be "hard to go away from" Swayman for Game 2 on Monday, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports. Montgomery almost always alternated starts between Swayman and Linus Ullmark in the regular season, but he may have hinted at going with the hot hand in the playoffs, at least in the first round. • Guarding goal in Game 1

Advice: Swayman posted a 25-10-8 record with a 2.53 GAA and a .916 save percentage in 44 appearances during the regular season. He also stopped 93 of 97 shots en route to going 3-0-0 versus the Maple Leafs. Toronto registered 3.63 goals per contest to finish second overall in 2023-24. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:40 pm
