    Per Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun, McMann (lower body) is getting closer to returning to practice, according to coach Sheldon Keefe.

    Advice: McMann missed the last two games of the regular season and will miss his fourth straight playoff contest Saturday after being injured versus Detroit on April 13. McMann was a pleasant surprise during the 2023-24 campaign, racking up 15 goals, nine assists and 117 hits in 56 appearances. Byfield can offer offense with a little physicality, but it remains to be seen if reuniting him with Anze Kopitar and Adrian Kempe will be the adjustment the Kings need to keep pace in this first-round series.
