    • Dazzles in Game 2 win
Bobrovsky made 21 saves Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Lightning in Game 2 of the Panthers' first-round series.

Advice: The Bolts struck twice early in the second period, once on the power play, but otherwise Bobrovsky had an answer for everything they fired at him, including an impossible stop later in the middle frame when the goalie dove across the crease with his back to Matt Dumba as the Tampa defenseman shot the puck toward a seemingly open net. Bobrovsky has allowed four goals on 42 shots to begin the playoffs. Including the end of the regular season, he's 5-0-1 over his last six outings with a 1.46 GAA and .942 save percentage. He'll look to stay locked in Thursday on the road for Game 3. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:42 am
    • Two helpers in OT loss
Hedman picked up two assists, one on the power play, in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Panthers in Game 2 on Tuesday.

Advice: All of Tampa Bay's scoring came in the first six minutes of the second period, as the team was otherwise stifled by Sergei Bobrovsky. Hedman had managed only one multi-point performance in the prior 15 games, including Game 1, but he'd been a consistent contributor with a goal and 10 points over that span. The Bolts may need the 33-year-old blueliner to find another gear in order to have a chance to bounce back from an 0-2 deficit in the series. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:33 am
    • Tending twine Tuesday
Bobrovsky will defend the home cage against the Lightning in Game 2 on Tuesday.

Advice: Bobrovsky faced just 19 shots in Game 1, stopping 17 of them on the way to an .895 save percentage. Despite posting a sub-900 save percentage, the 35-year-old Russian still managed to secure an important victory for the Cats -- extending his winning streak to three contests. Barring an injury, Bobrovsky should be between the crease for every game in the playoffs. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:28 am
    • Good to go for Game 1
Pietrangelo (illness) will play Monday in Game 1 against the Stars, according to Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News.

Advice: Pietrangelo underwent an appendectomy during his seven-game absence at the end of the regular season. He finished the 2023-24 campaign with four goals, 33 points, 141 shots on net and 160 blocked shots in 64 appearances. Pietrangelo is projected to play on the top pairing alongside Noah Hanifin in Monday's contest. Rotowire.com Apr 22, 10:59 am
