    • Evens series with Game 4 win
Oettinger stopped 32 of 34 shots in Monday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights in Game 4.

Advice: Oettinger matched his performance from Game 3, though the Stars' offense wasn't nearly as active Monday as it was Saturday. The 25-year-old has helped the Western Conference's top seed erase a 2-0 series deficit with back-to-back wins in Vegas. Oettinger has given up 10 goals on 108 shots in the first round so far. He'll almost certainly be between the pipes again for Wednesday's pivotal Game 5 in Dallas. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:09 pm
    • Scores lone goal in Game 5 loss
Hedman scored a goal on six shots, added four hits and blocked three shots in Monday's 6-1 loss to the Panthers in Game 5.

Advice: Hedman put the Lightning on the board in the second period, but they couldn't build any momentum. The 33-year-old did his part in the Lightning's first-round exit, racking up seven points, 15 shots on net, 13 hits, nine blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over five contests. Hedman will be in the last season of his eight-year contract extension in 2024-25, but he should at least begin the campaign in his usual role as the Lightning's top blueliner. • Draws start Monday
Oettinger will get the starting nod for Game 4 in Vegas on Monday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.

Advice: After falling down 2-0 at home, Oettinger was terrific in Saturday's Game 3 victory, stopping 32 of 34 shots in the process. He's allowed eight goals on 74 shots through three games this series. Oettinger was on a ridiculous run heading into the playoffs, going 10-1-0 with a 1.54 GAA and a .941 save percentage over his last 11 games during the regular season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:18 pm
    • Adds three helpers in win
Hedman supplied three assists -- including one on the power play -- in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Panthers in Game 4 of the conference quarterfinals.

Advice: Hedman was held off the scoresheet in the series opener but he's since emerged with six helpers, and the power-play quarterback's vintage Game 4 performance helped the Lightning avoid a series sweep. A two-time Stanley Cup champion whose 15-year career has been spent exclusively with Tampa Bay, Hedman should continue to be a major factor as long as his team can keep adding games to its postseason schedule. • Steady in Game 3 win
Oettinger allowed two goals on 34 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Game 3.

Advice: The two goals came in a span of 3:10 during the second period. Other than that, Oettinger was solid in a game that saw the Stars control the pace of play without faltering late in periods as they had earlier in the series. He's won one of three playoff outings while allowing eight goals on 74 shots in that span. The 25-year-old will need to continue playing well to give the Stars a chance to even the series in Monday's Game 4. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:38 pm
    • Earns power-play helper
McAvoy logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal, two PIM, two blocked shots, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs in Game 4.

Advice: McAvoy set up Brad Marchand's second-period tally, which ended up being the game-winner. With four helpers (three on the power play) through four playoff contests, McAvoy is stepping up on offense and playing steady defense, which has helped the Bruins establish a 3-1 series lead. The 26-year-old has added eight shots on net, 15 hits, 10 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in the postseason. Rotowire.com Saturday, 8:33 pm
    • Guarding goal in Game 3
Oettinger will protect the road goal in Saturday's Game 3 versus the Golden Knights, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Oettinger lost both of the first two contests of the series in Dallas, allowing six goals on 40 shots. He'll get a chance to right the ship in Game 3, though the Stars' season will be in significant danger if he can't get back in the win column. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:17 pm
    • Strikes twice Friday
Hyman scored two goals on four shots and added five hits in Friday's 6-1 win over the Kings in Game 3.

Advice: Hyman opened the scoring at 6:42 of the first period and added a power-play marker in the third. The winger has six goals, one assist, 15 shots on net, 13 hits and a plus-2 rating over three playoff contests. Hyman continues to be a perfect fit on the top line and first power-play unit as he racks up big scoring numbers for the Oilers. Rotowire.com Friday, 11:25 pm
    • Scores again Thursday
Aho scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 3-2 Game 3 win over the Islanders.

Advice: Aho extended the Islanders' lead to 3-1 midway through the second period, beating Ilya Sorokin with a wrister from between the circles -- it was the eventual game-winner in Carolina's one-goal victory. The 26-year-old Aho now has two goals and three points in his last two games after tallying 36 goals and 89 points in 78 regular-season contests. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:19 pm
