    • Provides power-play assist
Draisaitl logged a power-play assist and two PIM in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Stars in Game 6.

Advice: With just four points over six games in the Western Conference Finals, Draisaitl actually had a quiet round. That ultimately didn't matter, as Connor McDavid picked up the slack to help the Oilers make the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 2006. Draisaitl is at 10 goals, 18 helpers, 57 shots on goal, 17 hits and 12 PIM through 18 playoff outings. The Panthers will likely have Aleksander Barkov hard-matched with McDavid in the Stanley Cup Finals, so there could be more room for Draisaitl to make an impact on his own line. • Sends Edmonton to Cup Finals
Skinner allowed one goal on 35 shots in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Stars in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals.

Advice: The Oilers scored twice on their 10 shots, and Skinner made sure that was enough to win with one of his best performances of the playoffs. This was just the second time the Stars were able to put up 30-plus shots, but Skinner won both of those contests. He's now 11-5 with a 2.50 GAA and an .897 save percentage through 16 contests. Skinner is almost certain to be between the pipes for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals versus the Panthers on Saturday in Florida. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:26 pm
    • Tending twine Sunday
Skinner will face the Stars at home for Game 6 on Sunday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.

Advice: Skinner has won two straight games to put the Oilers up 3-2 over Dallas. In those two victories, he stopped a combined 39 of 42 shots. He's struggled at times this postseason and has an .890 save percentage through 15 playoff appearances. However, he's been much better against the Stars, posting a 2.08 GAA and .908 save percentage through five contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:37 pm
    • Adds late helper
Fox recorded his eighth assist of the playoffs in Saturday's 2-1 season-ending loss against Florida in Game 6.

Advice: Fox had the secondary assist on Artemi Panarin's goal late in the third period, but New York couldn't pull off the comeback. Fox added one shot, three hits, two blocks and a plus-1 rating in 24:11 of ice time. The 26-year-old led New York's blueliners in points this postseason with eight. That is not surprising, but he did not score a goal in 16 contests. There's speculation that the star defenseman could've been battling an injury, but there should be clarification on that front in the coming days. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:19 am

    • Records 20th point of playoffs
Trocheck supplied a helper in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Panthers in Game 6.

Advice: Trocheck had the primary assist on Artemi Panarin's marker late in the third period, which cut Florida's lead to one. Trocheck did not record a shot on goal Saturday, but he did have a whopping 10 hits and a plus-1 rating in 23:59 of ice time, the most of any Rangers forward. The 30-year-old center had a fantastic postseason, finishing with eight goals and 20 points in 16 appearances. Trocheck doubled up on his previous career high in the playoffs -- he recorded 10 points during the 2021-22 season with Carolina. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:31 pm
    • Supplies power-play helper
Draisaitl notched a power-play assist in Friday's 3-1 win over the Stars in Game 5.

Advice: Draisaitl set up Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' second goal of the game, which stood as the game-winner. It's been a bit of a quiet round for Draisaitl, at least by his lofty standards, as he's posted three points over five contests against the Stars. For the playoffs, he's at 10 goals, 17 helpers, 57 shots on net, 17 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 17 outings. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:43 pm
    • Wins again in Game 5
Skinner stopped 19 of 20 shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Stars in Game 5.

Advice: The Oilers' defense again stood tall, making Skinner's job easier with another light workload. The lone goal against him was tipped in by Wyatt Johnston. Skinner has won five of his last seven games, and he's given up two goals or fewer in six of those contests. He'll likely be between the pipes in Game 6 on Sunday with a chance to send the Oilers to the Stanley Cup Finals. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:31 pm
    • Between pipes in Game 5
Skinner will defend the road crease in Dallas for Game 5 on Friday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.

Advice: Skinner gave up a pair of early goals in Game 4 and then shut the door, stopping 20 shots as the Oilers evened the series at 2-2 with a 5-2 win Wednesday. Skinner has a 2.34 GAA and a .900 save percentage in four games against Dallas in the playoffs. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:57 am
    • One and one in loss
Kreider scored a shorthanded goal and added a helper in Thursday's 3-2 loss to Florida in Game 5.

Advice: Kreider registered his first points of the series in Thursday's home loss. The 33-year-old has cooled down significantly after recording 10 points in as many games across the first two rounds of the postseason. In addition to the multi-point effort in Game 5, Kreider had four shots on goal, four hits and a plus-1 rating in 22:04 of ice time. New York will need Kreider at the top of his game if they want to avoid elimination in Game 6 on Saturday. The first-line winger is tied for the team lead in goals during the postseason with eight. He's also added four assists and a minus-4 rating in 15 outings. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:53 am
