      Advice: Zibanejad helped out Chris Kreider midway through the second period who evened the score at 1-1. The 31-year-old Zibanejad is on a 13-game point streak dating back to the regular season in which he's provided five goals and 20 points -- that run includes three goals and 12 points across seven playoff outings.       Kochetkov allowed three goals on 25 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers in Game 3.

      Advice: Making his first appearance of the postseason, Kochetkov held the Rangers off the board in the first period. However, New York would answer with goals in the second and third before Artemi Panarin tallied the game-winner in overtime. The 24-year-old Kochetkov served as Carolina's primary starting option while Frederik Andersen was unavailable for much of the regular season -- he went 23-13-4 with a .911 save percentage.       Kochetkov will get the starting nod at home versus the Rangers in Game 3 on Thursday, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.

      Advice: Kochetkov will make his first appearance in goal for the Canes since April 14 against the Blackhawks, a stretch of eight games on the bench. While the team did split the workload between the 24-year-old backstop and Frederik Andersen down the stretch, if Kochetkov does secure a win in Game 3, he should probably be considered a lock to start Game 4 as well.       Zibanejad had the primary assist on Vincent Trocheck's game-winning goal in Tuesday's 4-3 double-overtime win over Carolina in Game 2.

      Advice: Zibanejad threw a shot towards the net during the second overtime that popped out to Vincent Trocheck for the game-winner. In addition to the assist, Zibanejad recorded six shots on net, two hits and a minus-2 rating in the tilt. He already has four points (two goals) in two contests this series.       Zibanejad scored twice, added an assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Hurricanes in Game 1.

      Advice: Zibanejad scored the Rangers' first two goals and added an assist on a Vincent Trocheck tally. All three of Zibanejad's points came in the first period, and two of them were on the power play. He's racked up four straight multi-point efforts and his point streak is at 11 games (five goals, 13 helpers) dating back to April 5.       Scheifele produced an assist, three shots on goal, three hits, four blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche in Game 5.

      Advice: Scheifele was solid with two goals and four assists over five playoff outings, but he also went minus-6 in the first-round series. The center had 10 shots on net and 13 hits as well. Scheifele is secure as a cornerstone of the Jets' roster for years to come, as his seven-year contract extension begins in 2024-25.
