    • Registers helper Sunday
O'Reilly produced an assist and two shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canucks in Game 4.

Advice: O'Reilly got on the scoresheet for the first time since his Game 1 goal when he set up a Gustav Nyquist tally in the second period. The 33-year-old O'Reilly has added eight shots on net, three blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over four playoff contests. He remains in a top-line role, but the Predators will need more from him now that they're facing elimination. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:31 pm
    • Falters late in Game 4
Saros stopped 16 of 20 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canucks in Game 4.

Advice: The Canucks again failed to direct much traffic at Saros, but he took a loss for the third time in four games in the first round. The 29-year-old couldn't maintain a 3-1 lead late in the third period as Brock Boeser scored twice in the final three minutes to force overtime, where Elias Lindholm completed Vancouver's comeback. Saros has allowed 10 goals on 70 shots through four games in this series, and he'll now be in must-win mode beginning with Tuesday's Game 5 in Vancouver. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:20 pm
    • Guarding cage Sunday
Saros will start Game 4 at home against the Canucks on Sunday, Zach Gilchriest of the Predators' official site reports.

Advice: Saros hasn't had to do much work in this series but the Predators find themselves in a 2-1 hole. He's stopped 44 of 50 shots in three games and hasn't made more than 17 saves in any contest. Saros is just 4-4-1 with an .899 save percentage since the start of April. • Out Sunday
DeSmith (undisclosed) will not be available for Game 4 against Nashville on Sunday, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK television reports.

Advice: DeSmith is dealing with a mystery injury but it's reportedly not related to the hit he took from Michael McCarron in Game 3. Arturs Silovs is expected to start Game 4 on Sunday. DeSmith stopped 41 of 45 shots in his two appearances this series and should be considered questionable for Tuesday's Game 5 matchup for the time being. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:25 pm
    • Heating up in playoffs
Montour registered an assist and four blocked shots versus the Lightning in Game 4 on Saturday, but it wasn't enough, as the Panthers suffered a 6-3 loss.

Advice: After being held without a point in the first two games of the conference quarterfinals, Montour stacked a goal and two helpers between Game 3 and Game 4. The eighth-year defenseman has always had a high ceiling in terms of offensive potential, but there had been a fair number of detractors until Montour's eye-popping 73-point campaign surfaced in 2022-23. He had offseason shoulder surgery and missed the first 16 games of the recently completed regular season, leveling back down to a half-point-per game average. In this playoff series, Montour is averaging 23:26 of ice time with 2:27 on the man advantage. The Panthers will have another crack at eliminating the Lightning in Game 5 on Monday, this time on home ice. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:51 am
    • Jolted by Bolts
Bobrovsky turned aside 26 shots Saturday during a 6-3 loss to the Lightning in Game 4 of the Panthers' first-round series.

Advice: After dropping the first three games of the series, Tampa Bay wasn't going down without a fight and took a 3-0 lead into the first intermission before finally pulling away in the third period. Bobrovsky has given up only seven goals in Florida's three wins, so this performance would seem to have more to do with the Bolts' desperation than the veteran netminder's play. He'll look to get back on track Monday in Game 5 as the Panthers try to clinch the series on home ice. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:21 am
    • Contributes helper in overtime win
Seguin produced an assist, four shots on goal and three hits in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Game 3.

Advice: Seguin set up Miro Heiskanen's second-period tally. Between injuries and poor play, the Stars required a lineup shuffle, which saw Seguin join Joe Pavelski and Evgenii Dadonov on the third combination. The helper got Seguin his first point of the series. He battled a lingering lower-body injury late in the season that he's likely still managing in the playoffs. The 32-year-old recorded 52 points and 154 shots on net over 68 regular-season appearances. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:48 pm
    • Goal, assist in win
Heiskanen scored a goal on four shots, added an assist, logged three hits and blocked three shots in a 3-2 overtime win over the Golden Knights in Saturday's Game 3.

Advice: Heiskanen helped out on Wyatt Johnston's first-period marker before scoring a goal of his own in the second. With four points, eight shots on net, nine hits and eight blocked shots over three playoff outings, Heiskanen is doing a little of everything. The 24-year-old will continue to see heavy usage in a top-pairing role, especially since head coach Pete DeBoer has displayed limited trust in No. 6 blueliner Nils Lundkvist, who saw just 2:21 of ice time Saturday. • Facing Lightning
Bobrovsky will be between the visiting pipes in Tampa Bay on Saturday in Game 4, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Advice: Bobrovsky has been solid in net to help the Panthers take a 3-0 stranglehold on the best-of-seven series. He has allowed seven goals on 71 shots (.901 save percentage) against the Lightning in the opening round. Bobrovsky also had a stellar regular season, going 37-22-6 with a 2.42 GAA and a .921 save percentage. Florida can advance to the second round of the playoffs with a victory in Game 4.
