      Advice: Tarasenko registered his first point of the series when he gave Florida a 2-0 lead just before the midway point of the third period. The 32-year-old has faced his share of struggles during the postseason -- he was recently demoted to the third line after serving mostly in a top-six role since he was traded from Ottawa. He did have a crucial marker against his former club in Game 6, so perhaps this game serves as a confidence booster for Tarasenko ahead of the Stanley Cup Finals.       Nurse logged an assist, 12 hits and three blocked shots in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Stars in Game 4.

      Advice: Nurse has been the target of some ire for his poor play in the playoffs, and he got off to an ugly start in this game. He was on the ice for both of the Stars' first-period tallies, including one that banked into the net off his body. Nurse was able to rebound, picking up a helper on a Ryan McLeod goal, and he followed up with a huge physical performance for the rest of the game. Nurse has just three assists with an ugly minus-12 rating through 16 playoff contests, but he's added 35 hits, 37 blocked shots and 31 shots on net while playing in a top-four role.       Tkachuk recorded two assists (one on the power play), seven shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Rangers in Game 3.

      Advice: Tkachuk helped out on a Sam Reinhart power-play tally in the first period and also set up Gustav Forsling's equalizer in the third. This was Tkachuk's second multi-point effort in three Eastern Conference Finals games.
