    • Takes another loss
Georgiev surrendered two goals on 21 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Stars in Game 4. The last two goals were empty-netters.

Advice: Georgiev played better than the final score would indicate, but the Stars' overall game was too much for the Avalanche to handle. He's now lost consecutive contests for the first time this postseason. The 28-year-old is 5-3 with a 2.97 GAA and an .893 save percentage over eight playoff contests -- which is fairly similar to how he performed in the regular season. The Avalanche's offense is strong enough to avoid asking Georgiev to steal games, but he will need to be just a bit sharper in Monday's Game 4 to avoid putting his team on the brink of elimination. • Garners assist in win
Duchene notched an assist, three hits and two PIM in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 3.

Advice: Duchene has gone five games without a goal. Through 10 playoff contests, he has one tally, three assists, 13 shots on net, 11 hits, eight blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. With linemate Tyler Seguin scoring twice and looking more like himself in Saturday's victory following a late-season injury, Duchene's offense could get a boost. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:20 pm
    • Nets game-winner on power play
Skjei scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rangers in Game 4.

Advice: Ryan Lindgren took a tripping penalty late in the third period, and Skjei made the Rangers pay. The goal was Skjei's first of the playoffs, but he's been heavily involved with seven assists and 20 shots on net over nine postseason appearances. The defenseman also has a plus-6 rating, 15 hits and 11 blocked shots as he continues to thrive in a top-four role. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:28 pm
    • Set to start Saturday
Georgiev will start at home in Saturday's Game 3 against Dallas, per Tracey Myers of NHL.com.

Advice: Georgiev surrendered four goals on 31 shots en route to a 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 2 on Thursday. He's 5-2 with a 3.10 GAA and an .886 save percentage in seven playoff contests this year. He struggled in the regular season, too, posting a 3.02 GAA and an .897 save percentage in 63 outings, but he still finished with an impressive 38-18-5 record thanks to the Avalanche's potent offense. • Deemed day-to-day
Marchand (upper body) was deemed day-to-day by coach Jim Montgomery on Saturday.

Advice: Marchand was forced out of Friday's 6-2 Game 3 loss after taking a hit from Sam Bennett. The 36-year-old Marchand has three goals and 10 points in 10 games this postseason. He'll likely be a game-time decision prior to Game 4 on Sunday. Jesper Boqvist would likely reenter the lineup if Marchand ultimately can't play. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:21 am
    • Exits Friday's contest
Marchand (upper body) was injured Friday in Game 3 against Florida and is not expected to return to the contest.

Advice: Marchand racked up five hits through 10:51 of ice time prior to suffering the injury but he failed to record a shot or a point. The veteran winger tallied an assist in each of the first two games of the series but is currently stuck in a six-game goalless drought. An update on his status should be available before Game 4 on Sunday. Rotowire.com Friday, 6:15 pm
    • Supplies assist in Game 3
Skjei collected an assist in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss against the Rangers in Game 3.

Advice: Skjei has recorded a helper in consecutive contests, bringing him up to seven assists in eight playoff outings this year. This has been his most successful postseason run in terms of personal offensive production. His previous career high in playoff points came in 2017 when he recorded four goals and five points across 12 outings as a member of the Rangers. However, his offensive output hasn't been enough to push Carolina past his former team -- New York has a 3-0 series lead going into Game 4 on Saturday. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:59 pm
    • Drops Game 2
Georgiev allowed four goals on 30 shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 2. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Advice: Georgiev and the Avalanche again found themselves in a hole early on, and the comeback effort fell short this time around. Georgiev's five-game winning streak was snapped, and he's now allowed 10 goals over his last three outings. The Stars are giving him trouble early in games, though he may be able to get back on track with this second-round series shifting back to Colorado for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday and Monday, respectively. • Between pipes against Stars
Georgiev will tend the twine on the road in Game 2 against Dallas on Thursday, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports

Advice: Georgiev is riding a five-game winning streak during which he's posted a 2.12 GAA and .921 save percentage. Even though the 28-year-old backstop stumbled in Game 1 of the Avalanche's first-round matchup with Winnipeg, coach Jared Bednar has stuck with Georgiev and will likely continue to do so even if he stumbles again. As such, fantasy players probably shouldn't expect to see Justus Annunen anytime soon. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:06 am
